Die Analysten von Thomas Weisel und von Lehman Brothers reagierten auf diese positive Nachricht mit Upgrades von „BUY“ auf „STRONG BUY“ (Thomas Weisel), bzw. von „OUTPERFORM“ auf „BUY“ (Lehman Brothers).

Trotz der Upgrades verlor die QWest-Aktie am Montag bis zum Schließen der Märkte in New York um USD 1 1/16 oder 3,04 Prozent auf USD 33 15/16.
